Mens Team - Player Profiles

The Beijing Gaelic football club was born around six years ago when when a small group of mostly-Irish pioneers of the Beijing men’s Gaelic football club got together to represent the Chinese capital at the 2003 Asia Gaelic Games in Hong Kong. The club’s women’s team, the first in mainland China , was established by a determined core of women to traveled down to that tournament. They’ve since been China and Asia champions.

ENDA WINTERS: The fastest thing on two legs in Beijing in 2008, Enda is currently back home in county Louth to finish his studies.

LIAM CONDON: Dublin star of the Beijing Men's A. Liam fits his Gaelic into a busy corporate life and a propensity for running marathons. Known to speak a lot of languages.

Better known to Beijingers as the proprietor of Paddy O'Shea's, KARL LONG is an all-round gaelic/soccer artiste and prodigious scorer for Beijing GAA men's A.

TOM FLANAGAN: Galway man, marathon runner and dependable veteran who's been there since the earliest days of Beijing GAA.

JOHN COLLINS: A gutsy Limerick man with a bit of London and Belgium in him, John is a long term Beijing resident who sells drugs for a well known US pharmaceutical group.
